If you are a caregiver for someone with a life-limiting illness or one who is reaching the end of their life, we welcome you. We acknowledge the hard but vital work that you are doing each day to care for the ones you love. Life and Death Matters offers a complete podcast library containing introductory to advanced topics, along with a variety of learning videos. Textbooks and workbooks are written specifically for personal support workers, health care aides, and nursing assistants are available here.

Compassion Fatigue Solutions works with helping professionals such as health care workers, police officers, paramedics, mental health professionals, and educators, helping them stay healthy in challenging environments. They offer concrete tools to manage compassion fatigue.

Canadian Virtual Hospice provides support and personalized information about palliative and end-of-life care to patients, family members, health care providers, researchers, and educators.

The Family Caregiving for People at the End of Life website has been developed and is maintained as a special project under the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association specifically organized to provide access to research, a range of relevant tools (including those developed through the research process), educational materials and networking opportunities for researchers, policymakers, decision-makers, health care professionals, related community organizations, individuals and families coping with caregiving issues.

The Caregiver Community Action Network (CCAN) is a unique and highly dedicated group of over 100 volunteers in more than 40 states. Our CCAN volunteers reach out to family caregivers to provide education and support. They also teach caregivers to be advocates for themselves and their loved ones.

Canadian Caregiver Coalition (CCC) is a virtual alliance of diverse partner organizations that work collectively, and autonomously, to identify and respond to the needs of caregivers in Canada.
