The City of Vancouver (BC) owns and operates Mountain View Cemetery. Each year, for 
the past 7 yeras, they have celebrated All Souls night at the cemetery. Complete with music, candles, flowers, opening prayer at sundown, supplies to create a memorial…. This is apparently a wonderful event. I wish I was able to attend! October 29, 2011 6 – 10 pm An atmosphere of contemplative beauty with music, warming fires and fragrant teas to comfort the living, and public shrines to remember the dead.
