Tom Attig launches a new book – Catching your breath in Grief… and grace will lead you home

29/10/2012

While studying for my thanatology certification exam with ADEC, I discovered one of my all time favorite books, “The Heart of Grief: Death and the Search for Lasting Love”.  Little did I know that the author, Tom Attig would later move to Victoria, and that I would get to meet up with Tom and his wife Betty Davies.

Tom has just published his new book and is celebrating with a book launch Wednesday, November 7, 2012 from 7:30 to 9:30 at First Metropolitan United Church, 932 Balmoral Road (at Quadra), Victoria BC.  The evening will feature music by Louise Rose and an introduction to, and readings from the book by the author.  Denis Donnelly and Lanny Pollet will also perform.

I am looking forward to exploring this new resource later this week, and hope to attend the book launch next week!

In our next newsletter we will feature an article from Tom, “Holiday Sorrow, and Precious Gifts”

Check Tom’s website for more information about his new book.
