Standard Assessment Tools: PAINAD | Complementary

The PAINAD is a standardized tool used for assessing pain when a person has dementia or is no longer able to speak for themselves.

In this role-play podcast, Bob is living in a long term care facility and has dementia.

Bob has become uncooperative with care, and the care staff wonder if his care-giving needs have changed.

They use the PAINAD assessment tool to assess his needs.
