The Certificate Program

The certificate program is designed for those working or desiring to work with the dying and/or bereaved. Learners work towards completion of 6 cores courses and 3 electives, tailoring their program to meet their own professional and personal needs. Courses meet requirements for Continuing Education credits in many disciplines. Enrollment is open ended, with participants beginning throughout the year.

LDMonline Courses

LDMonline courses will engage you with hospice palliative care foundational knowledge, develop your understanding of evolving theories and lead you on an exploration of current issues. Courses are completed in approximately 10 hours over a 3 week period. Take one course or work towards completing the certificate program.

Learning activities include a captivating mix of readings, discussion forums, group interactions, teleconferences, local and virtual field trips, guest speakers, art projects, videos and online chats.
